Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have qualifications relevant to the applied trade.
- Only full-time regular courses are accepted.
- Distance, part-time, or correspondence courses are not eligible.
- Candidates with higher qualifications than required should not apply.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwD: 10 years

Selection Procedure
The selection process is simple and merit-based:
- Selection will be based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination
- A merit list will be prepared
- In case of a tie:
- Higher marks will be considered
- If still tied, the older candidate (DOB) will be preferred
- Candidates must be declared medically fit
- Final selection is subject to document verification

- Residents within 7 km of OSCOM
- Wards of IREL employees
- Residents within a 10 km radius
- Odisha domicile candidates
