Only completed online applications received by the closing date will be screened. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the written examination. Candidates qualifying in the examination will be considered for appointment according to merit. Office Attendant candidates will also have to appear for a Skill Test.

The examinations include subjects such as General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Numerical Aptitude, and English Comprehension. MTSS posts also include a technical section, while the Administrative Officer post includes Central Government Rules and Procedures. There is 0.25-mark negative marking for each wrong answer.
