Selection Process

The Bank will decide how to choose Generalist and Specialist Officers for UCO Bank based on how many applications they get. The Bank might give an online written test, or it might go straight to screening, a group discussion, an interview, or a combination of these steps. At first, applications will be checked to see if the candidates match the minimum requirements, such as age, education level, and job experience. Only those who pass the screening will be put on the shortlist for the next stage.

At this point, shortlisting will only be done on a preliminary basis, and documents will not be checked. The last check of the documents will happen during the interview or afterward. Just because you meet the basic requirements doesn’t mean you’ll be chosen or called for an interview. The Bank will make the final merit list based on the scores from the written test and/or the interview, if there is one. If two candidates have the same number of points, the one who is older will be listed higher on the merit list. The Bank’s choice at every step of the selection process will be final and binding.

How to Apply

Only eligible candidates can apply online through the official UCO Bank website throughout the application period. Candidates should keep their email address and mobile phone number active before they start the application process, as all communication will be sent to these numbers. Candidates need to sign up by giving some basic personal information. After that, they will get a registration number and a password.

Once candidates have logged in, they should carefully fill out the application form, choose the position they want to apply for, and upload scanned copies of their photo, signature, and other needed documents in the format that is requested. After filling out all the information, candidates must pay the application fee using one of the following online payment methods: debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. Candidates should print out the final application form after they have successfully submitted it so they can refer to it later.

Once the application is sent in, no changes may be made. Applications that are not complete or do not include payment will be turned down. To avoid technical problems, candidates should apply well before the deadline.
